Leah and Nathan were one of the last weddings to be photographed this wedding season, I am positive those couples who have waited all summer for their day to come around are just bursting with excitement that their day has finally come around!
Their day was captured by Karen and another colleague of mine, jackie and when I caught up with them afterwards they were smiling from ear to ear and couldn’t stop talking about what an amazing day they had! It was such a beautiful wedding and the timeline was so relaxed with Leah and Nathan choosing to do whats called a “first look”. This means they chose to meet in private before their ceremony, to not only see each other for the first time but to be able to hold one another and talk about their day so far and of course, how wonderful they both looked. Although its not for everyone, a first look can be such a positive thing for couples to do for many reasons.
They chose the Adina Treasury to both prepare for their day and also the grounds for their first look, the courtyard was a beautiful choice!
The girls looked amazing and of course Leah’s dress is just sublime its like nothing i’ve ever seen before, she certainly chose a dress that suited her and the look and feel for their day. This paired with some strapping suits for the guys, some pretty flowers crafted by Poppies Flowers and you could say they had put on an amazing day!
Their ceremony & Reception was held in the Art Gallery of SA and it was just the perfect back drop for their day!
I think Karen & Jackie captured their day perfectly, here are some of our favourites from their beautiful day;
Thank you Leah and Nathan for allowing Karen, Jackie and I to play such an important part of your wedding journey, it was so lovely to get to know you and for Karen and Jackie to capture your beautiful day for you, wishing you both all the very best for the future.
