Well, I am very proud to say that I have finished wedding season for 2012/2013 except for one last wedding in Fiji in June! Next season is looking very busy already, I only have a small handful of spots left which is just amazing so don’t leave it too late to enquire!
I have been so blessed this season to work with so many beautiful and wonderful clients, I have so many stories to tell and so many gorgeous weddings to blog so I thought I better get started!
Isobel emailed me this beautiful message about whether I was available and would be interested in photographing a wedding of an older, more ‘mature couple’. I jumped at the chance, I don’t believe in choosing clients for their age, all I could ever want, is clients who are in love and wanting to commit their love in front of family and friends. I promptly replied and said I would be honoured to capture their day and so we made a time to meet.
Our meeting was just a ball of laughs, Isobel and I chatted for ages and I was so blessed to watch her talk about her wedding day so passionately and all the details she had planned. This was after all, her first and only wedding, to see her so excited made me very excited and my heart was so happy!
Mark is from England so his parents and best mates flew over to be a part of their special day, to hear all their accents and chatter throughout the day, I had to hold back from trying to sound like them! To see them have such a great time and enjoy what Australia has to offer was very nice to witness.
One of my favourite parts of their day and something that will stay with me for a long time, was to witness Isobel’s mum enter the room once she was dressed and see her ready to be married, I think that no matter your age, its just a beautiful emotion and I had to hold back from showing my tears!
Thank you both for allowing me the honour of capturing your day, I had such a great time with you and your guests and I really felt like I was a part of your family, thank you for being so open and welcoming.
Much love Bree xo

I met with David & Anita almost a year to the day before their wedding and I had such a fabulous time with them, they are a truly beautiful couple both inside and out. I couldn’t wait for their wedding day to come around, I knew it was going to be full of love and happiness and lots of laughter and smiles… did I mention smiles, Anita’s smile is purely amazing and just being around her makes you happy!
Anita & David’s wedding was held in the Barossa Valley, they both got ready at the grounds of Jacobs Creek Retreat, they hired all the accmmodation and so they had their pick of the cottages on site. We timed our photography so that neither of them saw each other at any point and that worked perfectly!
Here are some of my favourites from their wedding day;

Anita’s amazing dress was designed by Paolo Sebastian and it was absolutely devine!

Then it was over to St Peter & Paul Church in Gawler for their ceremony;

Then it was time for some creative photography, Anita & David chose Jacobs Creek Retreat for its beautiful surroundings so it was an easy decision made to head back to the retreat for this time.

The reception was held at Seppeltsfield Winery in a beautiful marquee, Anita’s tables looked absolutely amazing!

Thank you so much Anita & David for allowing me the honour of capturing your special day, you know how much I love you guys!!
I cannot wait to get working on your wedding album and seeing your images come to life.

On a beautiful day back in December, I was lucky enough to photograph the wedding of Chelsea & Ashley.
The day was perfect and went off without a hitch, the weather came good and the sun ended up shining brightly for us through the clouds!!
Here are some of my favourites from their day…

Teresa & John were married at Red Poles Winery in McLaren Vale and it was a huge family affair. Teresa & John have been together for many years, they have been blessed with 4 beautiful boys so when it came time to choosing a date to marry it was important to include them in the day. John works for the Army and so planning a date too far in advance has been a tough thing to organise and I must mention that one month before their wedding they had a few days where John was so close to being posted overseas again. Poor Teresa was on edge and luckily for them, he wasn’t called so the wedding could go on.
Their wedding was very imtimate, with their family and closest friends there to witness and celebrate the final chapter and commitment to their family.
They both got ready at the accommodation at the winery together and it was quite a relaxed morning, I floated between Teresa and John’s rooms and all the things that were happening, their boys were ready and roaming around so I captured shots of them throughout the day also. We decided to do half of their location photography before the ceremony and then just take some time after to capture a few more.
It was such a beautiful afternoon and I loved seeing this family coming together on a beautiful day and making their final commitment together.
Here are some of my favourite images from their wedding…

Their two youngest boys were SO cute, they happily showed off in front of the camera!!

John’s best man was their eldest son, such a beautiful moment…

Teresa had her sister as her maid of honour and her niece was the flowergirl…

Teresa and John and your four gorgeous boys, thank you so much for allowing me to be the one to capture your marriage, I had such an amazing day with your family and your guests.
